How we can help
Burial societyWe organize a Chevra Kadisha in the Las Vegas area, perform the tahara and can arrange for a shomer. Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services (702-485-6500) is Jewish owned and operated; King David Mortuary is part of SCI. Both work with any of the seven consecrated Jewish cemetery spaces in town.
Bikkur CholimVisiting the sick: we visit patients, arrange, cook and deliver meals, assist the family and offer spiritual guidance. To ask for help or to volunteer, contact Rabbi Shmulik Fogelman through our office.
Hospital visitationOur rabbis and volunteers visit hospitals and senior homes with a gift package — and the message that no one is alone.
Retirement home visitsBefore and during each holiday, or on request, a Chabad rabbi visits local retirement homes to bring joy to Jewish residents.
Crisis counselingIn any kind of crisis, big or small, we're here with a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on.
Prison visitationsRegular visits to Indian Springs State Penitentiary and the Southern Nevada Correctional Center for Torah discussion, tefillin and holiday programs.
Mezuzah checkingA mezuzah is our personal guardian. We'll check your mezuzot any time to make sure they're kosher.
Tefillin inspectionDrop your tefillin off and our sofer will check them thoroughly and return them good as new.
KasheringWe help transform your kitchen into one that meets all the standards of kashrut.
